Spring term 2025

Welcome to the Spring term in Willow class.  Our topic for the term is 'Woodland Animals'.  We are very fortunate to have our own woodland in school which we use every day.  We don't often see animals in the woodland when we're outside but we do sometimes see signs that they've been around and we sometimes see them through the windows when we're inside.  We love learning about the animals that we share our outdoor spaces with and the children always have lots of questions about them.  We will be learning about hedgehogs, foxes, snakes, rabbits and squirrels.  We will also be learning about Chinese New Year and Easter.

Reminders: 

• Please remember a warm coat, hat and gloves each day and please make sure that they are all named.  
• Water bottles are kept in the classroom.  If your child has packed lunch, please send a separate drink in their lunch box. 
• Reading folders are due in on Tuesday mornings.  New books will be sent home on Thursdays.
